Recording options

Morning all,

Since getting my tivo (as soon as it was available to order) my 1 off and series link recordings seem to be always starting late and finishing early.
This makes watching programs hard work as i miss the start and often find 10 mins missing at the end.

Does anyone else have this issue? Does everyone else setup series link recordings to overrun and start recording early? I would like to think the Tivo box was clever enough to know when a program starts and ends. It's not like im recording off a channel that may be out of sync due to sports etc these are test recordings off History and Comedy channels.

Re: Recording options

I always add 2 mins to the start and 5 mins to the end of all reacordings, just to make sure.

Re: Recording options

I've had this happen a few times now, I just add three minutes either side of each one off recording and series link.

It would be nice to specify these as default values and have them auto populate when you create a new recording leaving you with the option of increasing it for live events.
