Re: Is the TiVo charge now £3 per month on all TV packs?
The blog confirms all new and existing customers pay £99.99 for the 1 tb Tivo box.
Only a few months ago it was a special offer of £149.99 for existing XL customers.
Needless to say existing customers have been ripped of- VM should refund £50 to existing customers who signed up falsely thinking they were getting a special deal

For all we know Virgin might be in talks with them as we all know how secretive they are.

But these customers including myself knew what price we would have to pay when we bought it.

Same here, and very good it is too. So is the new BBC News app which makes the old multi-screen app look very out of date:

I would hope to see the majority of the Samsung apps on TiVo within the next year or so.

Not true, early adopters always pay a premium to be the first to get a new product or service. No one was ripped off.

That is insulting to the first purchasers of Tivo IMHO. I am disgusted with VM on this. We are not talking of a couple of years down the road after launch. It’s only been a few months and they’ve dropped the price by a third (£149 to £99 for XL TV customers). Feeling of being conned is the view of many after this price reduction this weekend. And let’s not forget Tivo still has missing features (e.g. red button) and bugs still to clear.

Re: Is the TiVo charge now £3 per month on all TV packs?
Just for clarification, does anyone know what the dates were for the following:
- TiVo 1TB first available at £149 discount price to pre-registers
- TiVo 1TB first available to all existing customers (and at what price?)
- TiVo 500GB first available at £49 + £40 install
- TiVo any first available to new customers
Cheers
Boz
