Re: Is the TiVo charge now £3 per month on all TV packs?

Has this been thought through?
Does the price change mean if you are on M or L TV pack then the Tivo is £2 cheaper than a V+ box, but if you are on XL TV pack you pay £3 more for a Tivo box compared to the V+ price?
Sounds a bit of a bargain for M or L viewers with a V+, change to Tivo now and save £2 a month.
Or is there something I am missing?

VM really have done a good job on their site, and - finally - a mention that Tivo can record 3 at the same time.

But, someone needs to look at the comparison chart (vs Sky HD) because it doesn't display properly in Firefox 5.
Does not display correctly on Chrome 13.
Looks like the width is not defined properly in the code.

Re: Is the TiVo charge now £3 per month on all TV packs?

I think the small print needs to be checked, to me it says I can get a 1Tb tivo for £49.95

Quote:
TiVo: TiVo activation fee is £49.95 with all TV packages. Subscription is £3 a month with all TV packages. Information about your TiVo use: By having the TiVo service and/or by using it you are providing your consent for us to use your viewing information to personalise your experience of the TiVo service (in addition to the other purposes set out in our privacy policy). We may share with third parties information about your use of the TiVo service in an aggregated form which will not personally identify you. This aggregated data may be used by those third parties for their marketing purposes (e.g. to improve their targeting of advertising based on user preferences).
Also I can't seem to find anything relating to free install for everyone. The only free install offers I can see is in the small print are new customers taking Tivo or new and existing customers taking XL or XXL broadband which to me says you have to upgrade to get the free install.

No the 500gb TiVo is £49.95 and the 1tb is £99.95 and install is free.

Question here nobody ever seems to know , can a person on the triple XL mates rate deal still get a 500gb TIVO for 49.95 with free install and 3.00 a month without losing mates rate discount.

I don't see why not, it's just adding TiVo on to what you currently have.

I feel a bit sorry for the early adopters, seems like they've had to pay a bit of a premium to get in early

I agree that M+ and L people are getting it easy but Virgin are wanting to move everyone over to TiVo so this is certainly a good way to go about it.

Ok, so where on the site does it say installation of Tivo is free? I can't see anything mentioning this.

Re: Is the TiVo charge now £3 per month on all TV packs?

So total prices remain the same with free install as you now pay for activation which was included. Or am I mistaken?

Should state that I'm talking about the free installs that have been running for a while now.
