can you Copy from V+ box to a USB Flash drive
How do you copy programs from yor V+ box to aUSB flash drive?

The USB port and the ethernet port on the V+ are disabled. The only method of getting programmes from the V+ is via the various TV outputs.

Why do Virgin advertise the USB port as being on the box.If it is of no use? Unless its just a wind up -we have it but you cant use it. Very strange.

You can't directly but if you got a capture device like this, then you could transfer the recordings to your computer in real time and then put them on a flash drive
