TIVO TV listings accuracy

I was just wondering how accurate TIVO's TV listing information is? I've only recently switched to a TIVO and was under the impression its very accurate, yet I got excited tonight when it listed "Battle: Los Angeles" as being on Syfy at 9pm tonight...I was a little suspicious seeing as it was only recently on at the cinema, although all the film info and actors details on TIVO correspond to the 2011 cinema film. However it turns out the film being shown on Syfy tonight is actually "Battle of Los Angeles", a very poor TV movie.

Virgin Media's online TV guide shows the correct listing details, its only TIVO that appears to be wrong. Is this kind of thing just a one off or common occurrence?

I would imagine that was just a typo. Quite rare IMO. Unless anyone else knows different.

Its not just a typo where they've entered a ":" instead of "of". The entire film details on TIVO correspond to the wrong movie actually being shown.

Oh I see. Sorry. More than a typo then. I haven't heard of that happening before but like I say somebody else may know different.
