Intermittent internet load up speed

I've got a 10Mb broadband connection which has always been fine in the past. But over the last couple of days I've noticed that at times pages hang and take a lot longer to load. There doesn't seem to be on specific pattern to this because a page will load immediately one time, then it won't the next time.

This happens on both Firefox and IE.

I've ran a speed test and that is fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Intermittent internet load up speed

There seems to be some routing problems going on ATM which may be at the root of your issue.

I notice somesites are very slow to load and some will not load at all. In all cases I canstill ping and tracert.

I have had to use the webcache for the last couple of days for some sites.

Yes, I suspect thats the case. There are a couple of threads near the top of this forum regarding the same issue.

Mine has improved since I've added the the webcache proxy.
