Are you sure 'TV' button doesn't exit delayed TV/go directly to Live TV?
I always press 'zoom' button to close the menus and go back to full screen whether it's TV or recording
I expect 'TV' button to always take you directly to 'live' TV (exit any recording, exit VOD and/or exit delayed TV)
and if thats not the way it works it should do - it's more intuitive

Do you really think that I didn't check my facts before I started this thread?
The TV button does NOT go directly to live TV when in pause.
The ZOOM button will not take you to live or paused TV from a menu page that does not display the small TV screen. The TV button will.
Check your facts in future before you challenge forum contributions.

You call it a 'challenge' - i thought it was a 'question' and tbh i didn't even noticed you made the opening post
but since you feel sensitive about my 'challenges' i suggest you ignore me because i'll be posting quite a few 'challenges' and i'll return the favour

I also discovered (before I cancelled TiVo) that when fast forwarding a recorded program and you think you have reached where you want to be and you press play you are actually about 10 seconds behind where you thought you where,is this a common issue or just another "bug issue".

It just works different to other pvr's in this respect. On other pvr's you fast forward past adverts you invariably go past the start and have to wind back. Tivo automatically jumps back with the fastest and second fastest ff. It doesn't do it with the slowest ff.

It's a feature and I really like it - I always over run when FFwding so when i press play (too late) it jumps back a few seconds - my wife is even worse than me
Works for Rewind too

Yes, it's a bit disconcerting at first but once you get used to it it's a nice feature.

Re: I have just discovered that...
Personally that's the one feature I really hate with a passion I got so good at just hitting the right spot without it that I now, invariably, have to spend a few seconds either FF or REW because I always miss it now. Wish they'd make it optional.

I'm with Carl here, after watching so many shows on a PVR you become a legend at stopping at just the right time.

I love the automatic windback feature. I reckon you two just want to brag about how good you are at stopping in the right spot
Nothings changed for you in reality; you just have to practice getting the overshoot right! Just think of it a level 2 for 'remote stop techniques'
