Universal HD is a decent channel with some good content.

Re: Itv2 hd

The amount of sport that ITV4 shows would put ITV4 HD higher on a wishlist than ITV2 HD.

And ITV3... considering all that's on that channel is ages-old dramas they've found lying around some dusty old storeroom (the picture quality would also corroborate that)!

Don't knock it, though! Jericho was on ITV3 not long ago, and it was the first time I'd seen it. Not a bad series at all.

Proper drama from the days when they knew how to write scripts and make great shows on a shoestring with very little special effects. Dramas that knock the spots off most of today's high gloss tat.

I never said the shows were no good. My point was that the HD version of ITV3 should have a lower priority than ITV4HD given the age of the programmes that are broadcast means that the channel would have no native HD content. So ITV3HD seems pretty pointless. Whether people like or dislike the content of ITV4, at least there is some programming in HD that would justify the existence of a HD version.
