0070 fault code

Exclamation 0070 fault code

i recently purchased a NEtgearVMD280 router for its wireless capability, but when i set it up and try to activate my account its shows a fault code of 0070.

Does any of you kind wise folk understand what the problem is?

Isn't that VM's Media Hub?

Where did you "purchase" it from?

It will only work if it was supplied by Virgin Media if you bought off Ebay then all you got is a pricy door stop.

stolen equipment, as its property of virgin media, whoever sold it to you was selling stolen property

It would have probably have been cheaper to call Virginmedia and get a legitimate modem on your account.

i have just done that and they are sending me one for free with an upgrade. going to ebay to raise an incident.

Now this is a good thread as it shows that is is in many ways much easier, simpler and sometimes a damn sight cheaper to ring your ISP first before buying Virginmedia equipment from Ebay.
