Re: VM has least complaints on Landline & Broadband.
Wouldn't have thought so. Even they couldn't spin this into something negative

Re: VM has least complaints on Landline & Broadband.
The only real negative is that broadband complaints doubled over the course of the period, which has already been mentioned.

Re: VM has least complaints on Landline & Broadband.
All this says is that the Virgin media customers couldn't get the ofcom page to load to make a complaint

Re: VM has least complaints on Landline & Broadband.
LOL
I can be negative its from Ofcom :P Wouldn't trust that shower with watching my boiled egg boiling for 10 minutes.
The reason its the least complained is because a high percentage of the time you call, you end up with someone from India who never record anything of the conversation, what was agreed etc, infact they usually just go ahead and do whatever they want and lie to you on occassion.
And another reason, people can only take so much Footloose and Our House by Madness for so long, the phone system is a bit weird, there has been times lately I have had to recall the number because the menu choices sometimes hangs after a selection and your left with static :P
Once you get through to a UK rep, I will admit they are very good on a whole, some you may get have maybe had a bad day and your turn to get the same, others even in a bad mood will talk to you professionally and calm a situation down etc.
On the other hand I think most people when they complain end up phoning retentions and from there put through to someone techy in the UK (Yes people they do indeed exist) since they don't want to speak to anyone in India. So not sure which departments Ofcom asked about.
And also people who don't know much to actually complain. They may think "Oh no I must have used it too much?" etc like the older people and some technophobes

Re: VM has least complaints on Landline & Broadband.
These are complaints received directly by Ofcom rather than complaints to telecoms company call centres.

Re: VM has least complaints on Landline & Broadband.
Surprised BT is not worse. I dread having to call them with any problems over phone lines for our tenants.
Can't recall ever having to contact Virgin with the same problems. Both BT & VM provide phone lines for our tenants in England.

Re: VM has least complaints on Landline & Broadband.
I do a fair bit of Wireless installs and PC repair work round my local area (beer money and holiday fund 2nd job!!) and I refuse to even phone talktalk if a customer has a problem, their call ctrs are the worst I have ever come across!! the company should be banned from trading as they are that bad!!

So if it had shown VM in a negative light would you have trusted it then

I would have said it was more factual yes
As to another post I realise it was through ofcom, I am assuming if they did things right they would also get facts and figures from the ISP's also. Obviously if they did that the business in question won't truly show the true figures

In other words when it relates to VM you will not believe a word even if you know its true unless it shows them in a bad light
Remind to to take anything you post in the same vain.

indeed, VM good against competitors which doesnt surprise me as the competition is poor. However the worrying thing for VM is the growth in complaints since october. I remember already replying to this elsewhere so this is a duplicate thread?

Not quoting the whole sentence again are we Carl. But then again that is you Carl, blinkers on and going in one direction. Next time quote the whole sentence, because one word from it doesn't justify what you think is said.
