V+ service activation

Every morning around 06:00 I get a message come on my TV something like “You V+ service will be activated shortly”. This stays on the screen for about 5 minutes, then the box reboots. Then after about a minute another message saying “Your digital TV will start shortly”. Then after a few more minutes everything is back to normal.
This has only started this week. Is this something new and should happen, or is this a fault?
The box is one of the new V+ plus ones as the old one gave up a few months ago.
Anyone got any advice please.

I've heard of V+'s occasionally re-booting like this, but if it's happening persistantly there may be an issue. Might be worth making sure you're smartcard is correctly seated in it's slot.

It's a fault which is under investigation. A box swap won't help, so please bear with us until it's fixed.

However, I wasn't aware that the message stayed on the screen that long. Can you be exact about the time the message appears, and then the time the box reboots?

Re: V+ service activation

Doing an installation, if the live tv hasnt come through on the box, eventually it will come up saying the V+ will be activated, but this only takes about 3 minutes tops before the box reboots itself.

It hasn't done it all week, then this morning it did it again. The first message around 2 minutes then about another 3 minutes to re boot.
