I couldn't see 'TV' listed in the Cisco drop down menu of commands; Did I miss it? I checked a couple of times.
I've actually made EXIT operate the clear function and added TV as an icon on the touch screen (I had it there for V+ operation so familiar in that position)
I was surprised how much the V+ based activity on my Harmony controlled TIVO; I could have just added a few commands and stuck with my Watch TV activity based on the V+

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Exit = TV
The one to learn is the Zoom video window, while they technically do the same thing one brings up a menu and the time bar while the other one just shows video.

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Well here is a weird one. I have a Harmony 555, and everything works fine except the channel up and down, which seems to control the moment on the buffer bar by mistake.

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Any ideas what to put it for a Harmony 1100 to make the Tivo work? I've tried adding a Cisco CT-8565, a VirginMedia Tivo and none of them come up in the database. I'd love to be able to avoid having to teach it the entire remote.

Was that a typo or what you actually tried? It's CT-8685

Re: The Harmony remote thread
How embarrassing. I must have had 8565 on the brain for some reason. I blame the heat.
Thank you for making me double-check what I was doing ... it's all set up perfectly now.

You're right; I checked it when setting up my 885 for the bedroom. I've restored 'Exit' on the Harmony One to Exit to keep both remotes the same (still kept a 'TV' icon though)

Re: The Harmony remote thread
Installed yesterday - it took me ages to work out that it wouldn't work with "Watch Television (Tivo)". Anyway, it's working now ....
So, is everyone setting the Tivo to turn on/off, or leave it on? I suspect leaving it on will be most reliable as there aren't separate power on/off codes (yet?)
Turning it off and on this morning, it seemed to maintain the buffer for the channel being watched, so I don't think it'll save on power or disk life, but does anyone know if turning it off makes a difference to receiver choice for example? Or does leaving it off for longer stop the buffering?
By the way - the installer told me that every single person he's installed for so far has had a S1 Tivo.
