Regarding the rest of it, yes we are all in it together, however we aren't a communist state and all those with money aren't going to have it all taken off them to ensure no-one is any better off than anyone else, almost all of those who are wealthier are paying more in both absolute and proportional terms they just start off with more so are left with more.

Surely in these days of austerity that were all so fond of the people at the top could make a decision to cut costs on everything including making decisions to bomb the crap out of places in the name of oil so we can all feel the same amount of pain were all feeling. I disagree with everything you say, but that's ok because were all allowed a view on a hilarious forum such as this isn't that right. Some of use wouldn't know financial hardship if you were down to your last £30000 , about time a few people started to live in the real world apart from sat on forums saying whats happening is for the good of everyone .
