Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

Just got an e-mail confirming they have recieved our order and that they'll be in contact ASAP to confirm an installation date.

That's all I wanted when I ordered TBH. Just an automated e-mail to say they had the order like Amazon or Play do

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

ordered Tivo online on Tuesday, just got this email.

Thanks for being one of the first to order our new TiVo service. We’re sorry you haven’t heard anything from us yet, but demand for TiVo has been higher than expected so it’s taking us a little longer than normal to confirm orders.

We have received your order though, and we’re processing it now. We’ll be in touch very shortly to arrange your installation date, and you’ll soon be enjoying the best TV service around

i picked 23 April for install, dont think im going to get it now.

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

Just received this e-mail from Virgin Media which makes me happy. Now all i have to wait for is the real installation date. Will be interested to see how close to the asked for date of April 23 it is.

Should I be worried if I haven't even received the offer email yet?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

Are Virgin still sending out emails to customers to order TiVo? I have received nothing since the "Dear Dean" email.

Yes although it seems best to set it up as the underlying Cisco box, only right now the model number has slipped my mind.

It's posted on here and originally on AV Forums.

Can anyone confirm if all emails have been sent out yet? I mean the original offer email, not confirmation ones.

I'm going to leave my V+ codes on and add the cisco one; if the cisco doesn't work, I'll just add codes to the V+

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2

If the V+ is relocated upstairs, TIVO downstairs, I take it the basic HD channels stay with the V+?
