Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
I am a VIP 50 customer and asked for two boxes. I was told that the first box was at £149.99 and no install fee but for the second box i must pay £199.99 plus £40 install. I declined to take it up.
Is this correct or are they having me on?

Re: General TiVo Discussion Part 2
Ive had the email: Q: How long will the option to phone and get it for £150 be for.
2: Would you keep the Cisco box as your second box. or the Samsung V+, reason i ask is one of the original features mentioned was the ability to stream recordings from the tivo to a V HD box, now this really appeals to me, but will this be possible with a V+?
Thanks.

Strange that I'd be told it'll stay on and you've been told it won't.
Any staffers able to say what should happen?
I'm not too keen on upgrading if it does disappear, it was a nightmare getting the discount sorted in the first place!

How sad am I - not only compulsively checking my mail in outlook, but I keep logging into my webmail to make sure it hasn't fallen into the spam filter (sigh)

I ordered 2 boxes and was told it was 2 X £149. I paid by credit card just in case the raised credit level only allowed for one box and things got delayed trying to sort things out (he said I could just add it to my bill, but I thought I'd err on the safe side).

Give them a call on 150 as some of the others have done and explained that you have not received the email but you are wanting to order the box?

Fair enough - just confused me for a minute (though it doesn't take much this past couple of weeks LOL).
I think I will do as passingbat suggests tomorrow. If I remember rightly CS closes at 8, so I figured even trying at 7 with all those calling after work might be a bit of a nightmare. I'll ring tomorrow morning.
Heading off to start watching my V+ to get it cleared in anticipation...

Not AFAIK, the offer is for as many as you want on the account. Try calling back.

Well he 'tried' to be helpful, but I got absolutely nowhere. He said there wasn't anything he could access from my account and he couldn't give out the number, that the email should hopefully be with me in the next 24 hours. He said there was an email on the system which he's sent out to me, but it's just a generic TiVo information one as though I've just rung and wanted to find out a bit more - not even the info that was in last week's email.
This is depressing now that I actually called! I tried to explain others have got that info, but he was adamant that there was no info he could give me, that it would all be in the email which would arrive in due course

Just call 150 as most have done on here and explain, I know that some will not agree with it but that is what a lot are doing over forums and blogs?

Don't suppose someone wants to pm me the phone number?
