gone from not a annoyed customer to a happy one. Will get it now and hope to god ESPN America is added in the next 6months otherwise I will be annoyed that I got the tivo and not gone to sky lol

I've got something to moan about! Before this announcement loads of people weren't going to get TiVo, now a lot will have changed their minds which means a likely delay in actual install due to increased demand!!

If VM is scrapping the Â£3 per month charge for TiVo orders placed in April and beyond, if the customer is on a VIP50 or VIP100 tarriff.

If this is true, will customers who already have TiVo installed and are on one of the above tarriffs, also get the Â£3 per month charged waived.

Yes from what DF has posted they will get this. When I got the TIVO call they did not mentions anything about the Â£3 charge so long as I stayed on the VIP50 package I would not be charged the Â£3.

Just as a reminder everyone....for pre reg's The TiVo pre-sale doesn't start until Monday 11th (or just after) so don't contact Customer Care or Sales until you get your email.

I had my TiVo installed on the 22nd February, and I paid Â£149 by debit card, with the Â£40 install fee waived and was told I would be charged Â£3 pm, which has appeared on the latest bill. So hopefully this charge will stop, but you never know with VM!!!

I believe what DF has said and I think that the charge will be removed. That is my opinion.

Only joking, it's fair to say there are a lot of let's say 'niche' channels on Sky!

I believe a shoe channel is launching soon.
