Re: TiVo
VM seem to have made a monumental c*ckup here, remember we have been waiting over 4 months due to a promotion initiated by VM. Everybody knew what Tivo1 users were buying at(and I am not talking about raffle winners, Tivo1 owners were getting the VM Tivo with no install fee). All they had to do is offer a no install fee to those who have patiently wafted and this BB would be the fully of exited VM customers waiting to get their Tivos. It has left many customers feeling rightly disappointed in my view and many will wait until the lower cost box comes out later this year I suspect. Bad move VM I am afraid and it takes something for me to complain, but VM have done it this time.
What the hell was the reason for that raffle then, to wind up customers when they have to buy at a higher price than expected?
I am now "considering" rather than buying.

Sounds like freeview would fulfil your TV needs. Why do you have pay TV?

For sky sports. I've always had the top package for the past 11 years but to be honest I spend more time on my games consoles than I do watching the repeats on t.v. Best thing on t.v in along time was Mrs Browns Boys.

I can feel a back track coming on , VM realised they've made a stupid mistake. Not a rant at you DF but VM really are unbelievable how they market things.

It's a perfectly valid response. If you're happy to pay for it then go for it. If you're not then stay with what you have. VM aren't twisting your arm and forcing you to have it.

The emails are sent in batches so you will eventually get one.
Yes as DF said there will be more info on pricing and stuff in the next few days.
The is nothing arrogant at all about VM staff saying if you don't like the price then don't get it. It will eventually go down in price and there will of course be a cheaper TiVo box coming out.
However for now TiVo is a premium product and there has a premium price attached.
