No they at all times remain the property of Virginmedia and are therefore not for sale.

What do Virgin do with their old boxes ? Say you have been a customer for 2 years and then cancel. They come ans collect all their equipment including the V+ box. They surely don't hand out 2 yr old boxes to new customers, so what happens to them all ?

Is it 10 pounds per month per box, or is it 2 lots of 5 pounds because you're not on XL TV?

Initially there was a 10 pound charge just to have a V+ (TV Drive as it was called then).

They brought in a new charging structure for V+ and people still paying 10 pounds P/M had the option of paying a one off fee of 100 pounds and the 10 pound monthly charge was dropped. I did it for the one V+ I had at the time; it didn't become my box though.

If that's what you're paying the 10 pound p/m for, I'd give CS a ring; it may be cheaper than 100 pounds now?

Re: 2 v+ boxes

Remember there is also a Additional box fee of around £5-£6 a month that is still charged
