Does the ECJ realise that they have created discrimination with this ruling .It also covers pension annuities so because of this ruling men will have to have more money in the pension pot to get the same as women out because womens life expectancy is longer

And young drivers cannot be charged more because they are young.

Being cynical I'd expect simply that female drivers will now pay the same as men, and no one will benefit. I suppose its *just* possible that mens may come down slightly, I'll bet dollars to doughnuts though, that the Insurers will benefit from more money coming in regardless.

Without a doubt ,no way will the insurance companies lower mens premiums down to womens levels ,indeed the AA have said that they expect womens premiums for under 30's to rise by 25-30% ,i seriously doubt that the insurance companies will set the rates at a mid point between the 2 levels

We are both over 65 and the my insurance premium for our car is slightly lower than what my wife would pay for the same car. What we used to do now that we don't have a car each is insure this one in my wifes name for 2 years and then in my name for 2 years, this means we keep our current no claims bonus should we ever get another vehicle.

Remind me again why we listen to these idiots.

I hope the insurance companies ignore this stupidity.
