I've just had a look on the Populous site for the full survey ,unfortunately it hasn't been posted there yet but i will definately have a look tommorrow and see exactly what the questions were and what the results were ,i have a idea that the DM have cherry picked questions and answers

The fact that 'The Observer' and 'The Independent' also don't report the item 'Daily/Sunday Mail' is accused of censoring, shows where the problem is.

From 'The Guardian/Observer'

According to the survey, 39% of Asian Britons, 34% of white Britons and 21% of black Britons wanted all immigration into the UK to be stopped permanently, or at least until the economy improved. And 43% of Asian Britons, 63% of white Britons and 17% of black Britons agreed with the statement that "immigration into Britain has been a bad thing for the country".

So that means a higher percentage of Asian Britons than White Britons want immigration stopped completely.

At least they had the courtesy to their readers to include the word "consider", rather than the conflation of "considering" and "would" that the Mail undertook....

re British Asian/stopping immigration, the caveat is quite important
