It's LAN IP in the Advanced Settings screens

I'm aware of that, I was talking about BB L not BB M

One question though...

If you go to Advanced>IP Filtering or Advanced>MAC Filtering it should show you a list of "trusted devices" which is pretty much the same thing. Or look under LAN IP also.

In which case the new L seems a lot cheaper than we are currently paying (even after the discount period has expired) so how do we get the reduced price? It does seem somewhat ridiculous that a lower price is not available to existing customers when Virgin decide to re-jig packages/speeds.

You would need to speak to Customer Services to see what offer they have for you and whether any of them are acceptable

I believe that is just a glitch that will be rectified shortly.

Re: 20 Mb/s to 30Mb/s free upgrade
this new service is decent value in my opinion as long as it performs reasonably within spec (not too congested).
upload of 1.05 same as what I used to get on ukonline adsl, with a 1.22meg up sync, so cable uploads when compared to adsl take in the factor of no ATM overhead. The download speed is miles ahead of what my BT line can give me.

Re: 20 Mb/s to 30Mb/s free upgrade
Oh, a question I just thought of.
What am I supposed to do with the old AMBIT265 modem? I believe it has to be returned to VM, but there was no returns bag/box sent out to me?

Re: 20 Mb/s to 30Mb/s free upgrade
In theory the dir 615 and cisco I got here both owned by VM. But the reality is they wont care and I get to keep them.

You can take it to your local dump who will have the correct recycling facilities for electronic equipment but first take a pair of pliers to the male F connector on the back of the modem and snap it off to ensure no one wil try to salvage it.

It is 90 days to prevent that happening.
Even staff have to pay £30 to upgrade so no one is special.
