Love this thread lol...

Masque, are you absolutely sure the VM Superhub remain supported and will be replaced by VM in the case of a fault for the duration of the contract subscription?

The website explicitly states the VM Hub (non-super) only comes with a 2-year warranty (dependant on the user remaining a VM customer) and while it doesn't specifically say anything different about the Superhub I can't see being any longer.

As Ben says the 2 year period will be for the USB adaptor.

Agree totally with this

Don't suppose you know anyone at work who will be able to change the website to show the correct information then?

Re: Virgin to give new Superhub out.

How long does it normally take to have a wireless n usb dongle sent out? I had the superhub installed on the 21st Dec and phoned CS two days later and was told one would be sent out.

I know a lot of mail is held up around the country so thought I'd give it a wee while, as yet it's not arrived.. should I give CS another call or wait a while longer?

Thanks in advance.

Wow nice attitude... not.

From what i read the superhub isnt fit for purpose out of the box people having to disable the flood protection to get a useable net connection for a start.

A customer has a right to refuse equipment if doesnt work as they like, at that point VM can of choose to not do business with them but we all know how VM works, they will do whatever they can to keep customers.

The is a reason behind the post if you think about it and not one you are supposed to write about on here but at least my point has been put to the poster.

Result I think, though would have been happier if my current router had worked, not sure I'll like being back on a bare-bones router.
If you have QoS switched on, try turning this off.
