sound breakup on ESPN HD

watching the Newcastle match on ESPN HD and slight sound break up every few minutes - and not on ESPN. anyone else getting the same problem?

I noticed that the first half was 5.1DD sound with breakups every 20-30 seconds but the second half reverted to 2.0DD sound and seemed ok.

Do ESPN HD always broadcast in 5.1?. I only ever watch the live Premiership games and they now have a lot less of these. The last game I saw was only in 2.0DD.

usually, yeah. They had a fault on 5.1, so possibly why it changed to 2.0

I had the sound problem and they lost the picture on a number of occasions. When they came back, commentator only apologised for sound problems.
