I really hope Virgin will fix up the EPG next month when all these channels close/rebrand/open. BBC HD at 187 is just plain stupid.

Before this thread closes in Jan, what new channels would you expect to see on VM in 2011?

Just 2 tuners and not news on to have the 3rd one. Lots of imperfection yet and too deer.
He said he'll go out to customers at the end of January and not to get it just yet but wait maybe till next summer when will be the Thing!
He also promised me he'll let me know if there are new improvements.
Anyway he told me is a very good product...when ready.

No offence mate but every new box is buggy just look at the SkyHD box when that was launched.

Here is the latest I have:
ESPNA HD - Talks are ''ongoing'' but someone last week did say on DS that it set to launch in January.
Sky Atlantic HD - Sky Atlantic HD will be ''Sky only'' but Virgin are hoping to have Sky Atlantic (SD) from launch but talks are again ''ongoing''.
Sky Sports 3 and 4 HD - No way in hell unless Ofcom tell them to.
Universal HD - No news in months.
ITV2 HD, ITV3 HD and ITV4 HD - Talks are ''ongoing''.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
Is there much HD content on ITV HD 3 & 4, surely they are not simulcast channels?

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010) Vol. IV
They said on Channel One the other evening that they are closing at the end of Jan and they would could visit a website to see where shows were moving to. Sky Atlantic will begin in Feb... could it be technically a name change and the removal from Freeview?
Or has it been made clear that it is Sky only?

sky are deliberate closing it so it wont be a name change, if it a was re brand virgin would get it, by closing channel one then launching sky Atlantic virign have to negotiation to get he channel so sky are making sure it most likely sky only

That is what I am asking... has it been made clear that it is more that a rebrand (in more that just marketing terms)?
Sky press release makes no mention of it being exclusive
http://corporate.sky.com/media/press...y_atlantic.htm
Neither does the Sky Atlantic website
