DVD Recorder

Hi,

I have just brought a DVD recorder and want to transfer some programmes that i have on my V+box to dvd. I go into TV Drive/ V+ Extras / Copy to VCR/DVD i then select programme that i want to transfer it then states that copying in progress. When i come to watch the DVD it has just recorded a black screen, anyone got any ideas as to what is happening.

Re: DVD Recorder

Which Scart socket is the DVD recorder plugged in to? If your TV is connected via HDMI then you'll need to connect the DVD recorder to the VCR Scart on the V+ box.

how have you got the DVD recorder connected to the V+HD? and what steps are you taking please?

You'll need to make sure the DVD recorder is on the correct AV channel too. check your recorders instructions for something like "recording from an AV source"

p.s. to the forum

Have you got the DVD recorder on the correct input source option? Usually L1 etc.
