Well, once again our public transport infrastructure is caught unprepared for our weather.
 Pathetic.

The snow was up to my knees this morning (I'm 6ft3) last night in Doncaster and the gritters stopped gritting at approx 2130hrs, so there were no roads left unsnowed on.... I walked to work today and will probably be doing tomorrow too.

When I change my car I think it'll have to be another Land Rover or a Range Rover. Can't get up my road again it's quite steep uphill, frozen over slush and it's just started snowing again. Will be on nuclear war rations if I can't get to Tesco later.

I went to Sainsburys Local earlier for potatos but they had literally nothing on the shelves because there weren't any deliveries |

It started snowing on and off at about 7 last night. This morning my OH managed to drive most of the way back from his nightshift but had decided to park in the main road in the hopes he can get to work tonight as it seems to be a case of you drive on minor roads at your own risk.
I think I'll reschedule the appointment I had this morning.

Same here, roads are completely ice covered in the streets, road at the end is not gritted either and we have metal bollards and speed tables to navigate before we leave our street. Start of this year someone tried it and ripped the front bumper off their car, yesterday there was debris there again so looks like someone has damaged their car again this time.http://goo.gl/photos/Qh3zqQWHeG |
