Realtek Sound Question

I wonder if someone can answer something for me...

I have an m4a88td-m evo usb3 motherboard with realtek sound..

I have installed the drivers yet the sound card seems to be stick in Spdif mode and i cannot get the analogue part to work for sound.

Are there any settings ive missed?

take it that you are using win 7
make sure you have headphones or speakers plugged in
on the task bar press the audio icon
press mixer
press the device icon
at the bottom of properties
press do not use this device
press apply
then you will have a red x on the audio icon
press audio icon again.
choose headphones or speakers
done
