Vintage TV on Virgin

I have seen this Freesat/Sky channel at my mum's (on Sky) and thought it was pretty good - covering music from 40's to 80's.

They sent me an email today saying they were getting 500,00 viewers a week now and want to get carriage on Virgin. To support this they have a Facebook page "vintage 2 virgin" - if you want it look it up and press the "like" button. Guess it works like a petition - more "likes" they get the more they can chat with Virgin....

Re: Vintage TV on Virgin

Would like to see this on Virgin but wonder if they are going about it in the right way. How many people who do not have a Facebook account are going to sign up for one just so they can vote?

Not me, for one.

Re: Vintage TV on Virgin

Vintage tv is doing better than expected and is negotiating with virgin media about carrying their channel.

Thanks for that Media Boy. Good to see they are in talks with Virgin and not relying on their Facebook campaign as they are not getting many results from that.

Though there are probably quite a few of us who want the channel we don't want to sign up for Facebook.
