Question Connection of 2 DVD recorders

I have Sky TV and I've just installed a CCTV camera on the front of my house. At present, the CCTV camera is connected to my DVD recorder and working fine. The problem is, while it's recording, In order to free up disc space on the Sky hard drive, I am unable to record anything from the Sky box to the DVD recorder. So I'm thinking of buying a second DVD recorder only to be used for the CCTV camera.

Does anyone know how the setup should be taking into account that both DVD recorders comes with 2 scart sockets each?

My fiance who isn't techie minded, wants to switch viewing from one to another at ease.

Welcome to the forum

Easiest way is just get a scart switchbox (they can either be a simple button or remote press to change the channel) that way you'll never be confused with it again..

There though will be a way of doing it without a switchbox but unless we know how many scarts your TV has and what make/models the dvd recorders and TV are then it's impossible for us to confirm

Re: Connection of 2 DVD recorders

Then just use a scart socket for each device/recorder combination
