OFCOM react to 2 complaints about Top Gear.
Quote:
Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson caused offence when he described a car as "speciale needs" - a play on its proper name, Ferrari F430 Speciale.
Media regulator Ofcom investigated after receiving two complaints.
However, it did not censure the BBC as the broadcaster had deleted the comment from repeats and the iPlayer version, and apologised for causing offence.
Clarkson described the car owned by co-presenter James May as looking "like a simpleton".

I'm not too keen on Jeremy, but there's only so many things you can joke about in life, and the obvious one is people as there's millions of them.
I believe that we laugh at the jokes about others*. until the joke's about us.
*except when we're PC and we are selective about who we make a point of not laughing about. even though we may find it funny really.

What if you're Linux, rather than PC?

Some people in this country need to lighten up. The show is there for entertainment and if you don't like it don't watch it.
Making everything too PC is getting beyond a joke now.

At the end of the day if you tune in to watch Top Gear or any programme with JC in it, purely by his reputation you kinda have an idea as to what you are going to get.
LOL at the linux though though.
