NBC Universal shows coming to Virgin Media TV On Demand in HD

Virgin Media today announced a deal with NBC Universal International Television Distribution for the video-on-demand rights in the UK to a broad selection of NBC Universal series. Under the terms of the agreement, these titles will be offered as new content across Virgin Media’s three entertainment platforms; TV, online and mobile. From the 1st December Virgin Media customers will be able to access past seasons of great shows such as House, Heroes, The Office (U.S.) and 30 Rock, whether in HD at home through its TV On Demand service or via its online and mobile ‘Virgin Media Player’ services.

Sky Movies Christmas back.

According to Sky DS Forums Sky Movies Showcase/HD is to be rebranded on December 1st as Sky Movies Christmas/HD until the first week in January on Virgin Channels 403 and 433.

Dont for get christmas24 on channel 419 will start in november keep seeing the add for it, i new that was coming with sky chanceing the name

The info I have says Sky Atlantic (Not in HD) will be on Virgin Media. The only exclusive I see is the HBO Shows.

Sky has confirmed the launch of the Sky Atlantic channel to carry its exclusive HBO shows, as well as the new series of Mad Men poached from the BBC.

Whilst I doubt we'll get it in HD, I can't see the reason why we won't get the SD version. Sky customers will be happy with the HD exclusive, advertisers will be satisfied with the same exposure they get with the rest of the Sky channels.

Virgin and ITV are still in talks over the new ITV HD Channels.

BBC One HD launches November 3rd on Virgin Channel 108.
