Elonex Webbook Linux -> Windows?

Hi everyone,
I purchased a Elonex Webbook Linux base.
I've done some research on net but I could find much about the feasibility of installing windows on Linux Webbook.
Does anyone know if they are the same machine in term of hardware and how I would go to install windows on it.
I tried to make a bootable USB drive with windows but my Webbook does not load it from USB.
Can anyone help?

If it can take XP it can handle 7. However whether you can install anything after depends on how much storage it has. On an Eeepc 8Gb it doesn't have much room for anything else after.

It's got 80GB storage (from website) so that should be plenty. However, XP runs slow as a dog on netbooks with less than 1GB RAM, so I'd consider either upgrading it if its possible or leaving linux on it, as its got far better memory management than windows.

Why downgrade?

OK so I'm a Linux advocate, but seriously, is there a need to change the OS? Windows will cost you money and unless there is some software you need only available on Windows you are likely to find all you need free in the Linux world. You can even change the Linux if you don't like the supplied one.

Thanks everyone so far for replying.
But I've not had anyone giving a walkthrough guide in how to migrate my Elonex Webbook Linux based to Windows XP or 7.
From the website seems that the Linux and Windows XP version share the same hardware configuration but I am strangling to let my machine to recognise my USB drive for the windows installation.
Can anyone advise how to do this, step by step, from personal experience and not from suppositions?

P.S. For the Linux enthusiastic, I prefer Windows only because I feel more confident. Not trying to disrespect any O/S or causing a debate.

I've not done this...but I've installed windows on many-a-PC/laptop enough to know the following:

1. Download the XP Drivers for the netbook from => http://www.elonex.com/support/products/webbookxp.shtm (on right hand side menu), and place them on a USB Stick.
2.Get a USB CD/DVD-ROM Drive (beg, borrow or buy).
3. Plug in said USB CD/DVDROM and put Windows CD/DVD in drive
4. Reboot and tell netbook to boot from CD/DVD Drive (button combo depends on device, check manufacturers handbook)
5. Follow on screen instructions to install windows, remember to format the HDD (which will wipe linux from it)
6. Once windows boots, install drivers

That should be it.

If you aren't confident in doing all of this, I would advise finding a friend who is confident in installing windows, and get them to do it for you, or alternatively, take it to an independent component dealer (they will charge approx Â£50 for this I reckon).

thanks for your help.
I just want to add that I'm very technical and I've done 100's installations.
Also I've done as I mentioned before a bootable UBS drive and I've installed windows 7 on an advent laptop from USB drive and I did not used a and external CD/DVD drive.
Because I don't want to buy one and I dont have anyone I can borrow from then I would like to know if it feasible to do an installation from USB drive on Elonex Webbook from someone who successfully tried.
