That's a vista and a half Chris, it must be wonderful to wake up in the morning and see that view out of the window. I've just had to check the route to the summit and it seems to be a reasonably moderate hike but perhaps not in the snow

Loch Lomond
The Loch is between us and the Beinn. It's actually a very long drive around to get to the path to walk it, even though as you look at it from here it's only 10-15 miles distant.
As for the house ... it was a real blessing to get it, because there aren't many houses here at all, so property doesn't come on the market very often. Euromillions weren't required, thankfully, because it was a real doer-upper, and because the location is so isolated it tends to restrict interest.
