Getting Cable Box signal to another T.V.

Hi...Can I ask ..we have the Virgin Cable Box (ordinary not V +) silver type to the T.V. in our lounge...and want to get the cable signal into the back Room Conservatory T.V....I know I could get a digi-sender..but was wondering if there is any way to get the signal to the other T.V. other than to get another V Box? Does anyone know at all..

Thanks so much.

Chrisann.

Re: Getting Cable Box signal to another T.V.

If you want to watch the same channel as the one in the lounge in the other room then you could use a digi sender, or use a coaxial cable from the RF Out socket on the V Box and then plug it into the conservatory TV and tune it in to the frequency the V Box is on. If you want to be able to watch different channels then you would need a second box which costs extra per month.

Hope this helps

Re: Getting Cable Box signal to another T.V.

I wanted to connect my samsung box in bedroom to computer (haupagge card) in other bedroom/computer room. This was as i had lost Soccer Saturday on SP News from freeview.
Tried co-ax but it was a complete snow type picture (maybe the cable was a bit cheap Argos).
Now got a Digisender from Maplins and the signal is passable but not 100%.
Still i can now watch any Sky channel whilst surfing lol
