You usually find that anyone who is cruel to animals, is usually cruel to fellow humans.
The woman is a disgrace

She's been identified by the RSPCA and the police have been forced to offer her protection due to local feelings

Re: Woman dumps Kitten in Wheelie bin Footage caught on CCTV
It's weird as the RSPCA can charge her yet the police can't, it still though is enacted in the law (perhaps the law only gives powers to RSPCA under the Animal Welfare Act)
Under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, the maximum fine for animal cruelty and welfare offences is £20,000. The maximum term of imprisonment for offences is six months

Re: Woman dumps Kitten in Wheelie bin Footage caught on CCTV
So putting a cat for hours in a bin is not a criminal offence and gives out a message now to others that they be cruel to animals and get away with it.

Leaving cats to hop around in red wellington boots till they collapse exhausted is also cruel I think.

The fact that she looks perfectly respectable makes it even worse.

Re: Woman dumps Kitten in Wheelie bin Footage caught on CCTV
'Lola was a rescue cat and was wary of people when we first got her. She has a lovely disposition and really wouldn’t hurt a fly.
This is what makes the whole thing worse. It must have taken an awful time for the family to give Lola back her self confidence when she was rescued from a shelter and now this has happened to her. I hope it wont affect her self confidence again poor thing

Yeah wonder if he has a licence for that. My view of this is obviously what the woman did is wrong but if people want to have pets how about keeping them in their home, it'll save them getting run over and the neighbours gardens from being used as a toilet to boot.
