Helping replacing graphics card

Hi all,
Does anyone know where I can buy a 8400GS PCI-E (NOT 2.0) with a FAN on it?

The reason I don't want version 2.0 is because I have a Dell Inspiron 530 and the motherboards PCI-E standard is 1.0a and 1.0a so I read on the net is hit and miss regarding it working with a 2.0 card. I've tried one 2.0 card and my pc wouldn't work with it.

I'll have to have a look at that one in store as most of the ones I've bought was pictured with a fan but turned up without one.

Ones with no fans tend to run about 80c in my Dell.

Can you find anymore that I may have missed in case that one don't turn out right?

Also, does anyone know any 2.0 graphics cards that they know for sure works with 1.0a?

While I cannot guarantee compatibility, this graphics card would work in a PCI-E 1.0a slot.

As for performance, this card would be faster than a 8400GS.

@zing, When I say they came with no fan, I mean they came as passive coolers.

@vanman, Sadly it doesn't look like theres a fan on that card.

And I don't really know what to say about the compatibility of 2.0 and 1.0a as I did buy this card to start with: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/189234 and it was fine, but it ran very hot at about 80c. So I sent it back to get one with a fan on, I went with this: http://www.dabs.com/products/asus-ge...file-6Z8C.html but it wouldn't work with my pc.

Any thoughts?

yes you can still fit your own fan or HSF

80 degrees is not to hot for a GPU
