Lookign for a new PC around £500-£600

I quiet like the small form factor pc. any advise on those.

well the Dell ones are over priced and underspecced. Machines like the revo are also to underpowered for photo editing etc. Builds with good hardware run to hot in small cramped cases

I can build it. I just need advise on what parts etc.

I did my a+ way back in 2003 and normally strip my machien and give it a good clean. but I'm a bit worried about what kit is compatible with each other etc.ideally I would like windows 7 premium.

if you buy a pc off it it comes with a warranty off me so obviously the mark up is higher to cover responsability. I also do a build for a fee where as you order all the bits and I chuck it together set it up and everything but if something fails you have to deal with the retailers

in which case build a tower do not build a small form factor

If you like AMD Ebuyer do bundles that should work together

chuck it in a case add HDDs Optical GFX and a PSU and your well away. The above bundle is well balanced

Or go with the posted basket but look at the revisions I mention below it if ya fancy i5. You could also save a few quid on a different mobo

If your quick Aria have a pc that only need's a hdd, os and a DVD for £470 and with 2 hdd's and a dvd and win 7 home premium it come's to £647.62, but you could always drop a hdd to get it to around £600.

Beauty about it is that it is overclocked and comes with a warranty for the overclock aswell, in a good case etc then at a later date if you wanted just upgrade the graphic's card if needed and your cooking on gas.

Actually scrap that just noticed it's only a core i3 dual core thought it was a core i5 my mistake.

in general terms how do you rate the intel and AMD chips liek I remember P1 266 being quicker than P1 133 and celeron being a cheaper slower option. HOw does Amd work?

Well the Intel i7 are the best the i5 next then I would say the 6 core AMD cpus the i3 on par with the phenom II quads also probably close to the Q9 Intel cpus then
