Sorry got confused there. That's still a shocking price to pay a month! Lovely ofcom. Thanks for your work. You forced a tv evil monopoly to ... Shock horror... Sell their hd channels to the competition to whatever price they wish. Top work ofcom. Nil price decrease and getting viciously ploughed by sky.

Something tells me sky planned this all a long and are laughing...

Dear god, Why has ofcom told vm that they have to get there customers they have to pay Â£7 per box as well as the normal price for the channels? You are god, you can do something to stop this. If you dont i will never pray agian. Amen

So if were getting SKY BASIC HD channels for free/no extra cost then that shows the HD pack Sky charge really covers its Sky Sports and Movies.

Taking that Sky charge Â£25.50 for Sports and Movies Â£27.50 from 1st Sept add your Â£10 HD for Prem Channels total Â£37.50 and they get 2 more channels called Sky Sports 3/4 HD.

I agree it would of being nice for VM to discount the XL/VIP customers but they are giving us Free ESPN and all Current HD channels and future Sky Basic at no extra cost

Ok this is 100% definate, despite calling this morning and getting nowhere called again ok the advice of big red. They added the HD channels to my account for Â£7 they said they will come on in august but don't know exact date but should be 1st wk

Calm down guys ... I think we all knew it was going to be Â£7 per box. It is just a shame that the bad rumour has come to light as a reality.

Final question till I depart... How much more are the movies on top of the sport package on xl? Only have sports but if I ever order the hd channels drunk one night I might as well have the hd movie channels

I would have waited because CS dont know what they are doing at the moment. after all you dont want them charging you for something else.

Â£7 extra can say for definate as I did it yesterday.

Not the news is was waiting to hear but it's simple, I shall not be paying Â£7 for two extra HD channels.

Well, for me anyway as I don't sub to the movies.

I have just thought - Even though I know you wont get the HD channels for lets say movies on their own without the SD varients. Imagine, You pay Â£7 for Sky Sports HD and on Aug 2nd you strangly get the HD movies aswell. LOL THAT WOULD BE A FUNNY MISTAKE BY VIRGIN.
