Virgin Media Landline telephone contract fees to be cut
Quote:
The three big landline telephone firms - BT, TalkTalk and Virgin - have agreed to make big cuts to the cost of ending their deals early.
The telecoms regulator, Ofcom, has told them to cut their "early termination" charges by up to 85%.

Re: Virgin Media Landline telephone contract fees to be cut
So considering the new early termination fee against the existing fee, how much might it cost me to cancel my M phone and L BB (national service) with say 8 months left on my contract? Thanks in advance to Ben who will probably reply.

This only applies to the Telephone portion of your contract. The TV and Interwebs have not had their prices lowered

Not what it says near the bottom just before hefty fines, unless I have misunderstood.

This is most likely a reaction to so many people taking their cases to OTelO. All OTelO did was basically slap them and tell them to stop being so bloody stupid.
Good news for those looking to port their nice VM landline numbers elsewhere though!
