no sky premier +1 HD?

although say that, its not really needed due to the amount of repeats sky premier 1 Hs does.

Sky doesn't do a HD version of premier+1. Although with the acquisition of VM's tv channels, I'd be unsurprised if Sky reuse those slots on its own platform for more HD channels including films.

Hi Guy's, I'm glad to be on this forum, I'm a V+ HD subscriber on the XL package and I'm delighted that we'll be getting Sky Movies and Sky Sports HD soon, are there any rumours doing the rounds just how soon we'll be getting them?

Plenty of rumour and suggestion....nothing official. No doubt it will be posted here first by MediaBoy..

Conjecture is the Sky Movies HD very very soon.....Sky Sports HD July sometime.

sorry if i missed anybody out that is why i said ETC as the list seems to be endless of the people who inform us !

I'll take the BBC over Sky or Fox news every single day of the week, the BBC are far more scrutinized for political fairness than Sky news, as regards Fox how anyone can say they are un-biased is laughable, they are so far off to the right they are in danger of biting their own backsides.
What did Murdoch say recently? that he'd like to see Sky news follow in Foxes footsteps.

That is the beauty of having a choice...and what is one mans' beef is another mans mutton.

But there are, and always be some sort of left/right bias no matter what News Channel is being talked about......and that is democratically correct as the choice of what we view is then down to the individual, and for us to make up our own mind if we woant to continue to watch.
But whether the person watching notices any bias will largely depend on their own political leanings....A right winger will not, in general see a right wing bias, as the views being expressed are in line with there own, so it goes no bias is will be conceeded...and the same goes for a left leaning viewer watching a perceived left wing bias.

I'm in a bit of a juxtaposition, I openly admit I have a left leaning, yet, I will rather watch Sky News than BBC News 24 (yet for a main news broadcast, I do prefer BBC)

The moral of the story is that you pay your money (as long as your not a Cable/Sat thief!!!) and you takes your choic

I have not posted here in a while! Ever since before we got Sky 1 back. Hopefully by looking at it if all goes to plan VM should be a whole lot better by the end of the year.

Saying that I know how slow they can be.....

just been watching SyFy HD and found out VM viewers are getting screwed over again !!!!

not only are we not getting ESPN America HD (launches Monday on Sky) but ther e was an advert for Hallmark channel HD launching 28th june on SKY. the best bit was the sentence underneath that states :-

"Virgin Media viewers will be uneffected".

looks like another channel thats not coming to VM !!!!

Eh? We already have ESPN HD!!!! And we are not being screwed over, just because a channel launches on one platform does not automatically mean it will launch on another at the same time.

VM have already anounced other HD channels will be added later this year.
