The John Terry news conference here....
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...up_2010/video/
He seems to be of the opinion that England are going through
Well I hope he is proved to be right

That report was a bit wrong. Apparently the players refused to take the field for training as a protest to the FFF (French FA). All will be well tomorrow allegedly.
Meanwhile if you thought Beckham and Rooney had it bad, read this:

Nigeria midfielder Sani Kaita has had more than 1,000 death threats since being sent off during Thursday's 2-1 loss to Greece at the World Cup.
"Kaita has received more than 1,000 threats to his e-mail from Nigeria," said team spokesman Peterside Idah.
|
I thought I had it bad with my 1,000 daily 419 e-mails from Nigeria.

So getting together with the national team is a good time to chat about the country and play football!!!

I wonder if it's a consequence of physical and mental draining after a long season. I would imagine that International football is no longer as important to the players as it used to be and after a hard season for their clubs getting together with a new team for a few weeks is just not a task they can do easily.

That's what people were saying after Greece won the European Cup.

Yeah, because just what the team need at the moment is more pressure.
Or maybe the sword above Capello's head is just the kick up the arse our players need to start playing some football.

Adding to woes, the managing director of the French Football Federation (FFF) has resigned in anger at the insubordination.
Jean-Louis Valentin told reporters: "I am disgusted, I am quitting my post.
"I am ashamed, I am leaving immediately for Paris."

And its just got worse. Kaka got sent off for a second-bookable offence due to horrendus act of cheating and deception by Ivory Coast.
Absolutely disgraceful.

To be fair, the Brazilians were doing quite a bit of that, so they got a taste of their own medicine imo. Oh, and two handballs in the second goal. Cracking game though

We hear the same old garbage from the England squad, l will tell you what will happen on the Sloveania game, the same team will play and Slovenia will beat us, and we will come home, sorry lads, but they have been pathetic, they are supposed to be the cream of English football, and yet they have not scored very many goals.
