Although there is no price information on the UK site yet...

Hopefully... although there is always the "Rip-Off Britain" factor.

Oh, & re. prices:
When the 3GS came out, I'm sure the prices for that in the US were similar to the prices for the 3G, yet the UK 3GS prices were higher than the UK 3G prices?

Re: The iPhone thread
would be nice if the iphone 4 wasn't exclusive to 02 this time.
Just got the 3gs so will prob stick with that for the moment. Shame they didn't up the storage though

Re: The iPhone thread
The 3GS isn't exclusive, so I can't see them going back to exclusivity with the v4.

Re: The iPhone thread
Its not exclusive, Orange have already posted on their site that they will have the iPhone 4 on the 24th June.
Also carphone Warehouse shows it will be on O2, Orange and Vodafone from launch

Re: The iPhone thread
I really would love one. But I only spend about £10 every six months on PAYG :-(
The last and only new phone I had was one of the light blue Nokias back in 2000 ish.
I'm currently using a clam Samsung which is 3rd hand and about 6 years old.
I think I deserve one don't you? ;-)

Re: The iPhone thread
I'm now wondering how much the 3GS will sink. I don't think anything more than £350 is worth it for a phone.

They've already got permission from Cisco. IOS is very much a network industry term...

Pfft! No bloody way I'm paying £350 for it!!
I reckon it'll be about the same over here as the current 3GS, the 3GS obviously dropping in price massively. O2 have offered me an upgrade to a 3GS for £89 - cash price £420 something? - so I'm hoping it'll be not too much more than £100 to keep my custom, tied into another 18 month contract at £35 a month... any more than that and I'm jumping ship - currently down to £20 a month, so they'll be getting £370 extra out of me in total... sounds about quids in for their part.

Nope, am totally happy with my HTC Desire.
I admit the screen does seem nice but its not that much better than any other phone out just now.
Also O2 have hinted on their twitter that existing iPhone customers may be able to upgrade early with a special offer. No more details at present though.
