Factory settings

I have to go to factory settings as my computer is giving a lot of probs so how do I back up my norton virius or is it possibe to do it as it has now been used in 3 other computers.

it thoery it should still see it as the third computer as its ID will not change if doing a restore using factory image. If you do have any issues Norton most likely be able to sort you out.

I dont have any viruses. Just having loads of probs with the lap top. Keeps saying microsoft has found a prob but dont say what the prob is and then it says it needs to close down and then when the message box is gone my laptop freezes and now im having probs opening links. Have to click on the link at least 3 times before it opens. Having other probs as well but cant think of them right now

Well as zing put then if it doesn't allow you to re-install the anti-virus on it then it will give you a number to ring to activate it. Restore the factory settings and just see if that fixes it.

Ah thanks for that.. Im going to bring it back to the guy I bought it from because Im having to much trouble with it and it's still under guarantee
