we have been on NGTV here at Teesside for nearly 4 weeks now and there is no sign of new cards yet so dont expect them anything soon.

there is no need to check the channels to check of you have been moved to NGTV you should be able to tell just by looking at the program information. there is loads more information like actors/presenters list, date program was made and also a more detailed discription of the program itself.

I'm trying to squeeze as much info out of various people and all has gone VERY quite.

Nothing new/shiny and in HD to report.

Also at the Ideal Home Show, Virgin Media intends to run further public demonstrations of a range of 3D TV content using Sony BRAVIA 3D-ready HX903 television sets.

The operator will also give customers a taste of its next-generation set top boxes built under a collaboration deal with America DVR giant TiVo, with the products due to launch later in the year.

I have not been told anything about Headends for weeks now - you best go to that NGTV page for all the latest news.

When will I get the new channels?

We’ll be launching Discovery HD, Eurosport HD, E4 HD and SyFy HD on 1st April. Not everyone will get access to these new channels straight away as we are carrying out some technical upgrades to our platform and there’ll be a few areas where we’ll be staggering the rollout. But don’t worry – we’ll be rolling them out as quickly as we can, and we should be all done by the beginning of June.

On Friday 2nd April we’ll also be launching ITV1 HD, which will be available in all ITV areas (this does not include Scotland and Northern Ireland). ITV1 HD will not be available in Scotland or Northern Ireland because it’s an ITV1 service, not an STV or UTV service. ITV is awaiting confirmation of STV and UTV’s plans with regards to the provision of HD services in the STV and UTV regions

i presume that means everyone who has been moved to NGTV will get the new HD channels and people who are still waiting to be moved to NGTV will be left to wait possibly till june.

if so its another way VM screw people over by not allowing all customers access to all the channels they are entitled to. its a little annoying that VM do this as this staggard launch crap would not happen with Sky or BT.

Ben, do we have to be on NGTV before we'll get the additional HD channels? I'd be gutted if I had to wait til June for EurosportHD - thus missing a third of the MotoGP season.
