Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)I will be Jumped on for saying this
O k, I have a feeling that I am going to be jumped on for saying this.
I am not having a go at any one . BUT could we not have two threads.
1 Coming to Virgin TV ( fact)
2 Coming to Virgin TV maybe, perhaps, how soon?, my mate at virgin spoke to the water cooler boy who was told by the cleaner that she heard Steve say. You get my drift
I want to know what is coming of cause, but page after page of may be`s might be`s are just a waste of time.
Sorry if I have upset people who like it, hence a second thread perhaps?

I had to laugh.
1) I do not think anybody could do such a thread because nobody really knows until virgin media announce it.
2) is probably nearer the mark as thats where i think most of the facts seem to come from.
Your post gave me a laugh though honestly "my mate at virgin spoke to the water cooler boy,who was told by the cleaner " genius and probably quite near the mark.LOL.
Although i think Media Boy does very well at keeping us up to date,as best as he can with the limited info available.

I think it was for the HD comparison near the bottom.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Let's see how those comparison charts stack up after Ofcom's decision later this month. Might look a bit more even on the Sports and Movies.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2010)
Just got round to reading the DS news about Cartoonio and this cuaght my eye
Quote:
Virgin Media has also secured mobile and online broadcasting rights in the UK to a range of Turner Broadcasting content.
The arrangement means that Virgin Mobile customers will be able to access mobile versions of popular shows from the Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Cartoonito, along with simulcast news from CNN.
|
So I take it there are some big things to come this year, maybe waiting for the Tivo stuff to be done. This is the second deal with a boradcaster that has been done with these rights in mind, the other being Disney.

First off, thank you I really like the idea that it made someone laff.
My point about fact or fiction stands.
I can not remember the date but there was a V+ offer cheaper install. Which I saw else were so in the public domain, which I posted here,as it seemed not to have been mentioned. It produced a spate of messages saying that it was news to them & they would wait for it. Not every one clearly looks at press releases etc. life would just be easier it was separated.
