I live in Edinburgh and have a Virgin broadband L connection (ADSL). I have recently noticed my WoW latencies averaging around 250ms which is way too high. The culprit appears to be silly packet loss at hop 6: 83.146.19.61 (so-3-0-0.0.cht-cor-002.bddsl.net) (see pingplotter graph: http://img693.imageshack.us/img693/5...stomerteli.png)
Is anyone else experiencing these problems? Is there anything I can do to get them sorted out?

Re: 50% packet loss on bddsl.net hop
If it's still happening, you'd best post the image on the 2nd line support newsgroup. They will get the the facts investigated and get back to you quickly. No point calling the offshore agents for the modem switch on/off runaround.
Zero packet loss at the destination, the loss at hop 6 doesn't matter.
I would blame Telia for this actually, between hops 10 and 11, both Telia and both allegedly in London, there's an increase in latency of over 50ms which is sustained throughout the rest of the trace.
Multiple reports of latency issues with Telia in London there - don't bother wasting your time reporting this to VM it really isn't a VM issue and Telia should fix it.
