Don't VM having saleman anymore

I am rather puzzled at reading where some residents of our lovelly country, don't have the facilities for cable, whereas other residents do, even though the residents only live a couple yards from them.

Don't VM salemans walk the streets anymore looking for new customers or new estates being builte etc, When l was in vending our company had a policy, that if you sawe a new building going up or a new company start, you would walk in and introduce yourself and leave your card, and drum up business.

Re: Don't VM having saleman anymore

Your company probably didn't have to dig for ducting to pass homes and connect new customers at a quite unpleasant cost. If VM think it's worth their while they'll look into it but generally they do not, and haven't had people patrolling streets looking for areas to extend the network on to for some time. There are teams of spotters, not sales people, that will go out in response to queries but as a general rule there's no 'patrol'. They will not patrol looking for new build, they would generally be trying to get agreements with developers at time of build so that the developer digs holes for the ducting for them.
