Should you really be surprised. My Tesco didn't seem to stop selling hot cross buns all year and now they have them out on prime display on the bakery counter:disturbed:
Even my local newsagent was proudly displaying his fresh new Cadbury's Creme Eggs in the run up to Christmas.
Commercialism prevails. Seasonal products are no more.
