Problems with new V+ box
Just had another V+ installed but bits of it aren't working.
It's an SA box, the Help & Info section on the Home screen doesn't load and I can't get any on demand working. All the correct channels and V+ functionality are working and the online light is on but on demand just displays the "just a moment" message and then doesn't respond and has to be reset.
Everything is working on my other V+ box, might something not have been provisioned properly? Have rebooted and waited 24 hours but still nothing.

Re: Problems with new V+ box
Not much you can do except to try this, unplug completely from the wall socket for a few moments then let the box reboot again, there is difference by unplugging as opposed to just switching off ...trust me ....if it doesn't work properly then, you need to call them .....

Re: Problems with new V+ box
If it is still doing it then you need to call Tech Support which is open 24/7 on 151 from your Virgin Media Phone.
It's absolutely free.
Or call 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line.

Re: Problems with new V+ box
Called Tech Support, he tried doing a few things remotely to the box, gave up and arranged a tech visit for tomorrow.
Will see what happens tomorrow!

Not bad going getting a tech for tomorrow, should get it sorted one way or another.

Re: Problems with new V+ box
Had to wait almost 4 weeks for installation! Was just a box swap too.

Re: Problems with new V+ box
Tech came round, formatted the box, removed the isolator. Still didn't work, told me the box would settle down in about 12 hours.
Then he noticed DTV Medic wouldn't load and told me he'd get another box, didn't have one on the van, would have a ring round and come back later.
