Us adults have just been annihilated in a snow ball fight with all the local children. It needed a hot shower to unfreeze me but it was great fun and the kids haven't stopped grinning. With the way the snow is now coming down I think a return match may be on the cards later.

Nearly went through a hedge when going round a corner in my car last night cause the side roads are like skating rings, luckily I was only doing about 10 miles an hour and managed to stop.

We were supposed to be going for a health walk up in the hills today but somehow I don't think so. My own road isn't even safe to drive on.

Been snowing in Huddersfield all day.
Shops were deserted and closed early.
Took 1.5 hours on a journey that should only take 10 minutes.
Had to take my little girl out on her sledge and help all the BMW drivers that were stuck. Must have counted 6 today. They never learn do they.
Snowman time tomorrow.

main problem I have no is the snow has gone and just left with all the ice on the pavement. Nearly fallen over a few times, is better in my Timberlands but when wearing smart shoes with flat soles can barely stand up and safer to walk in the road

Cardiff had midnight snow, then sleet, then it froze solid.
No sign of gritters out there yet (of course) so it's really dangerous on the roads and pavements.

The main roads here are fine but some of the side streets are like ice rinks. It made getting anywhere quickly fun today

Started raining about 3pm then at 3:30pm it was doing all 3 rain, sleet & snow.
Now its just snowing.
